Torrey deVitto is a famous American actor and musician, that was born in Huntington, New York on the 8th of June 1984. She is an American actress, former model and music producer. Torrey was born in the Florida town of Winter Park. Torrey DeVitto is of Italian ancestry. She performed as a violinist in the school orchestra in the 4th grade, and then she performed solo in Peter Cook and renowned actress Christie Brinkley's wedding. The father of Torrey's was one of Billy Joel's drummers. Billy Joel, who performed at Wembley Arena at that time, announced that DeVitto (who played drums) was the father of one of his new babies. Torrey is quite renowned for her dazzling characters, including in The ABC Family drama arrangement Pretty Little Liars as Melissa Hastings in The CW supernatural drama for teens The Vampire Diaries as Dr. Meredith Fell and in The CW TV series One Tree Hill as Carrie. Since 2011, Torrey is a Hospice Ambassador for The Palliative Care Organization and National Hospice. She also supports and helps with the PETA, HSUS, and RAINN groups. Torrey deVitto worked to raise awareness of Mental Illness for Mental Health Month, which ended with the National Alliance on May.
